Allow me to introduce myself.

After fourteen years as a teacher, one thing has become clear to me: the human body is an incredible design that we are barely scratching the surface of understanding.

The yoga: I love it, I hate it, I don’t want to live without it. As the daughter of an accounting professor and in school for a music degree, I fielded the question of becoming a teacher constantly. I could confidently say that teaching was never a part of my master plan. At a particularly low point in my life, the yoga found me and saved me. Through dealing with several injuries of my own & working with private clients of vastly different physical abilities and yoga goals, I developed a focus on anatomy and alignment. Since then, I have accumulated over 1000 hours of training with the best teachers from all over the world. I strive to create movement classes that are physically challenging and emotionally freeing, full of purposeful alignment & balanced with playfulness. The studio is a reminder to show up in life every day with an open heart & a clear mind.

In 2018 I added licensed massage therapist to my list of certifications and opened my private bodywork practice in Austin, Texas. I specialize in preventing injuries and enhancing performance, whether that is for a professional athlete or a business owner or parent. Currently, my practice operates in collaboration with WellSport in Austin, TX.

When I am not being a human body nerd, you will find me on the trail or a bike, reading on the porch with a cup of coffee, cooking, enjoying good wine, and playing the piano.
